About Me

I’m a community artist, creative practitioner and educator working across museums, galleries, Early Years and community spaces.

My practice is shaped by my Gujarati heritage, with family roots through Sindh, India, East Africa and the UK. Growing up around textiles, pattern, craft and family stories has influenced how I think about memory, identity and belonging, especially in Britain, where so many cultures and experiences meet.

Early Years is an important part of my work. I’m interested in how young children learn through play, movement, materials and curiosity, and in creating spaces where children and adults can explore together.

I believe creativity should feel open and accessible. Making is often the starting point, but the real work is in the conversations, stories and connections that grow from it.
